Esther Schmit is an experienced facilitator, event creator, and entrepreneur with a passion for designing impactful experiences that bring people together. With a strong background in Agile and Scrum, she has organized numerous in-person and online events—including the Online Scrum Master Summit and Women in Agile Europe—connecting professionals through innovative formats that combine insight, energy, and connection.
Evelien Acun-Roos is a passionate advocate for Agile, AI, and lifelong learning. As a Professional Knowledge Sharer at Xebia Academy, she brings 15+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, and Trainer.
She is a Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) with Scrum.org, a certified Training from the Back of the Room (TBR) Trainer, and a driving force behind engaging, brain-based learning experiences.
Beyond training, she contributes to the Agile community as a keynote speaker, conference presenter, content creator and organizer.

Opening of the Online Scrum Master Summit 2025
Join us for the official opening of the Online Scrum Master Summit 2025, hosted by Esther Schmit and Evelien Acun-Roos. This session marks the start of an inspiring week filled with talks, insights, and practical takeaways for Scrum Masters and Agile professionals worldwide.
In the kick-off of OSMS25, we will walk you through what to expect during the summit, and take a moment to acknowledge the incredible contributors who made this event possible.
We will also announce the VIP winners of this year’s OSMS participants—celebrating those who’ve gone above and beyond to promote the summit.

What I liked most about the summit was the sense of community. Seeing familiar faces in the sessions made it feel like we were in the same room, despite participants joining from all over the world!
