Code of Conduct for Online Scrum Master Summit 2025
The Online Scrum Master Summit 2025 is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants. As this is a fully online event, we ask all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and organizers to adhere to the following Code of Conduct to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
1. Be Respectful and Professional
- Treat all participants with respect, kindness, and professionalism.
- Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior, comments, or language.
- Respect differing perspectives and opinions in all discussions.
2. Anti-Harassment Policy
Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:
- Offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, religion, or other personal characteristics.
- Unwelcome sexual attention, inappropriate comments, or personal advances.
- Intimidation, stalking, or repeated disruption of sessions or discussions.
Such behaviors will not be tolerated in any form.
3. Respect Privacy
- Do not share or distribute screenshots, recordings, or personal information about other participants without explicit consent.
- Follow any restrictions stated by speakers or participants regarding content sharing.
4. Respect Event Guidelines
Follow the agenda and respect session schedules. Avoid interrupting speakers or derailing conversations
5. Dress Code
As a fully online event, we encourage attendees to dress comfortably while participating from their homes. However, we kindly request that all participants maintain a neat and professional appearance that reflects the collaborative and respectful nature of the event.
6.Maintain a Safe Virtual Space
- Use appropriate and professional profile names and images in all event platforms.
- Avoid spamming, trolling, or disruptive behavior in chat, breakout rooms, or networking sessions.
- Do not use the event platform to promote unrelated products, services, or solicitations.
7. Report Violations
If you experience or witness any inappropriate behavior, please report it immediately to the organizing team via the designated reporting channels available on the event platform. All reports will be handled confidentially.
8. Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Participants asked to stop inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately. Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in actions including, but not limited to:
- Warning the offender.
- Removal from sessions or the entire event without a refund.
- Banning from future events organized by the Online Scrum Master Summit team.
9. Commitment to Improvement
We are committed to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all. Feedback on this Code of Conduct is welcome and can be submitted to the organisers by sending an email to info [at] onlinescrummastersummit.com.
By attending the Online Scrum Master Summit 2025, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. Together, we can create a collaborative and respectful online space for learning, sharing, and networking.
