THE ONLINE SCRUM MASTER SUMMIT
An online conference about the latest tools and techniques and how to effectively respond to the ever changing Agile business.
The summit is all about learning from experts and interacting with other scrum masters in the online community.

ARE WE LOOKING FOR YOU? π
We are looking for volunteers to help
set up and organize the event.
The summit will take place 17 - 19 June, 2025
Your participation as volunteer will start around January / February, 2025.
YOUR BENEFITS AS A VOLUNTEER
As a volunteer at the Online Scrum Master Summit, you will receive free access to all days of the conference, as well as the recordings, with the Premium All-Access Pass. Volunteering also provides a fantastic opportunity to network with international and national experts.

AREAS YOU CAN VOLUNTEER
You can participate as a volunteer in ONE of these areas:
Speaker Focus Group
Your activities within the speaker focus group will vary widely. The work doesn't stop after reviewing the speakers' papers! Youβll also be involved in contacting and following up with speakers regarding their talks, sourcing keynote speakers, setting up the speaker schedule, reviewing presentations, and writing and reviewing emails and speaker-related web pages. In the first month, we estimate it will require 4β6 hours of work per week, and about 1β2 hours per week thereafter.

Marketing Focus Group
The Marketing Focus Group oversees all marketing and sales-related activities. We are seeking individuals with experience in (some of) the tasks listed below.
Skilled in Canva? Weβd love your help designing visuals and materials!
Native English speaker with content writing experience (emails and/or social media)? Apply today!
Enjoy building websites, brainstorming creative ideas, and have an eye for detail? Join our team!

Manage the website in WordPress (experience is a pre)

Designing eye-catching Canva visuals (only if you have experience!)

Set up content calendar

Write engaging social media posts

Brainstorm strategies to maximise event registrations and All-Access pass sales

Set up and facilitate the network event

Write e-mails for automated e-mail campaigns

Sponsor Focus Group
In the Sponsor Focus Group, we work on securing sponsorships for the summit. This includes creating sponsor packages and preparing the sponsor information brochure.
If you enjoy networking, this is a great opportunity to connect with potential sponsors, nurture leads, and build strong relationships with our partners.

Virtual Assistant / Operations Assistant
As a Virtual Assistant, you will assist with the organisational tasks that keep the summit running smoothly. This role involves supporting the team with various responsibilities before and during the event. If organising comes naturally to you, this role could be a perfect fit!
We are looking for someone fluent in English (native or near-native proficiency).

Follow up on action items of volunteers and organizers

Update event details and speaker profiles on the website (in WordPress)

Help create visuals in Canva (if you have experience)
β
Provide solicited and unsolicited advice
β
Assist with uploading recordings
β
Respond to attendee queries via email
β
Assist in facilitating events (e.g., networking event, volunteer retrospective, speaker retrospective, speaker kick-off, etc.).

If time permits: help out during summit
